Speaking of weekly activities:  how about some FREE food? Our free Thursday lunch is the best free lunch on campus! In fact, many of our weekly activities offer free meals.

Our Mission and Purpose

At Catholic Campus Ministry, we hope to be your church and home away from home. We have a unique mission and commitment to the Students, Faculty, and Staff of the University of Central Arkansas and Hendrix College. Our mission is to provide a source of guidance, spiritual growth, and awareness of our Roman Catholic identity; a challenge to Christian service; and worship of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We encourage each other to accept the Eucharist, the Body and Blood of our Lord, as the center of our lives.

 

Recognizing the diverse backgrounds and interests of students at UCA and Hendrix, it is important to understand that as Christians, we are all members of the Body of Christ. Even though we may be students from different campuses, we need to adhere to St. Paul’s teaching in Galatians 3:8:

            

There does not exist among you

Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female,

All are one in Christ Jesus.

As Director, I am enthusiastic and dedicated to making CCM a positive influence during these years  at college. I am committed to the spiritual formation and well-being of students, guiding and assisting them whenever possible. Because many college students sacrifice their faith during college, I greatly desire to see students participate in this ministry so that they may take ownership of their own Catholic Faith and continue to grow in Christ.
